Staff Interviews: Our People, Our Purpose
For this video, I interviewed a wide range of the organization’s office and field staff on camera about how they deliver our non-profit mission in their work. The video is now used as both a staff training tool and a consumer-facing ad.
Hostel Programs Interview: Bevin
To familiarize potential guests with the types of activities and programs hostels offer, I interviewed the staff member responsible for organizing these activities at our Santa Monica location. The resulting video highlights not only local activities and programs, but the type of experience guests can expect when they choose this brand.
Travel Scholarship Recipient
Using footage shot by a recipient of my organization’s annual travel scholarship, I edited together this video telling his story for use on social media and in fundraising efforts.
Why We Hostel: Solo Travel
Working with a professional videographer and director, I conceived this video to speak to anyone new to travel, particularly women who might be nervous to travel solo. This video highlights the connections we can make to new people and places when we open ourselves up to the kinds of experiences the brand offers.
Off the Beaten Path: Hostel Experience Video
This video gives potential guests a feel for the unique experience of staying at a rural hostel: you can enjoy the peace and quiet of solitude by day, and interact with new friends by night. I was responsible for conceptualizing, storyboarding, casting, and logistics for this production.
How to Travel on a Tight Budget
This video aims to make domestic travel approachable for first-time travelers and anyone else on a tight budget. I was responsible for scripting, storyboarding, casting, and logistics for this production.
